Jerry likes to hang out waiting for Julia to come into view. Then he gets in full attack position, sort of like a sprinter in the blocks, and right before he launches himself at Julia, he raises his butt, flicks his tail, and wiggles. It’s a classic cat attack maneuver, and Jerry does it better and with more flair than I’ve ever seen from another animal. Cracks me up every time.

No problem.

I’ll no longer post the day or date of the thing that makes me happy, because then I’ll get depressed about how far behind I am.

Here goes.

19th thing that makes me happy. Sports llustrated. Great articles and images. It’s avoided trying to cover every event that week, in every sport in every issue, and instead, focuses on the big picture and quirky topics other sports media doesn’t write about. For example, the current issue has feature stories on the ’69 Mets and Mario Andretti as part of it’s Where are They Now? theme. I didn’t know Nolan Ryan was on the ’69 Mets, and it was the only World Series’ ring he won. Go figure.
